Indonesian startup AMODA, which specializes in real estate and construction technology, has received seed funding from East Ventures and Living Lab Ventures.
Following pre-seed funding in 2022, AMODA stated in a statement that this round of investment strengthens its balance sheet.
It claimed that this funding would be used primarily to increase the capabilities of its operations, technology, and products.
With a staff of 30, AMODA is currently based in Jakarta and Bandung.
The company wants to work with over 30 manufacturing partners, 100 small and medium-sized enterprises (SME) suppliers/distributors, and 150 contractor partners by the third quarter of 2024 to streamline, efficiently, and sustainably improve construction.

The challenge in this area, according to AMODA, is the use of conventional methods, which led to a very low productivity rate when compared to other industries.
Furthermore, a lack of transparency and predictability has resulted in enormous inefficiencies that have wasted resources, affected a great number of projects, and left large, unused carbon footprints.
As a result, AMODA is using digital technology to transform the conventional construction process and address its problems.
