EMaaS platform BillionElectric received $10 M Seed funding

BillionElectric, an eMaaS platform, has raised $10 million in an initial round of equity and asset lease financing.

According to a press release from BilionElectric, the money will be strategically allocated to the installation of electric tarmac buses at the international airport of Bengaluru and to the creation of a platform for mid-mile heavy EV trucks.

Billion Electric, a company co-founded by Kartikey Hariyani and Mustafa Wajid, aims to create an energy transition network that is tech-driven. The group’s signature brand, CHARGE+ZONE, is one of the charging networks that will support the installation of airport electric tarmac buses at Bangalore International Airport as well as the creation of a cutting-edge platform for heavy mid-mile EV trucks.

After launching in Bengaluru in partnership with Veera Vahana, the company claims it has already signed a contract to extend its services to 10 more airports across India. BillionElectric will offer a wide range of services as part of its comprehensive E-MaaS offering, including electric vehicles, charging infrastructure in association with CHARGE+ZONE, and an integrated E-Mobility platform, ensuring smooth operations.

Additionally, the platform will expand its support for commercial electric vehicles, enabling efficient and zero-emissions-driven freight transportation for big businesses.
