Fashion startup Tryo raises Rs 3 Cr Pre-seed funding from Zeropearl VC

In a pre-seed funding round headed by Zeropearl VC, the fashion retail marketplace Tryo has raised Rs 3 crore.

According to a press statement from Tryo, the new funding will be utilized to establish operations in Bengaluru, speed up the development of products and technologies, and fortify alliances with top Indian fashion labels in an effort to revolutionize the way that customers purchase clothing online.

Tryo, a fashion marketplace that offers scheduled and sixty-minute delivery, was co-founded this year in January by Meet Saparia, Arjav Patni, and Shiva Singh. For free, users can order up to ten goods, test them out at home, and only pay for what they keep. The same delivery partner picks up returns right away.

With carefully chosen clothing from high-end and fashionable Indian brands, Tryo hopes to deliver the trial room right to the customer’s door, setting a new benchmark for ease and assurance in online buying.

Curated collections from more than 25 high-end menswear and womenswear designers, such as Virgio, The Souled Store, The Bear House, Nishorama, and Bewakoof, are currently available on the platform. Both scheduled and sixty-minute delivery options are available from the company.

“We want to give users the convenience of online shopping without compromising on the confidence they get from trying things on. This funding allows us to build with speed, care, and complete focus on the user experience,” said Meet Saparia, co-founder of Tryo.

With all quality control and end-to-end logistics handled internally, Tryo uses a dark-store business model. The delivery staff is prepared to manage doorstep trials and in-person quality checks of returned goods, guaranteeing a smooth transition from storage facility to closet.
