FinX raised $6 M Seed funding from Elevar Equity
Elevar Equity has contributed $6 million in seed funding to FinX, an integrated skilling platform aimed at closing the gap between employer readiness and formal education in the BFSI industry.
It will diversify into IT skill training, increase its product offerings, and broaden its geographic reach with the help of the proceeds. Additionally, it will support the development of scalable solutions that address the increasing need for qualified personnel in a variety of industries by improving its technological platform.
By providing industry-focused and vocational courses in addition to degree programs, FinX, which was founded in 2019 by Himanshu Vyapak and Upasana Koul, collaborates with colleges and universities to close the gap between academic education and BFSI industry requirements.
The startup, which is based in Mumbao, says it has over 1,000 trainers and about 80 employees spread across 100 Indian cities. It says it has partnered with more than 300 colleges in 12 states and trained over 40,000 students to date.
Vyapak was the Deputy CEO of Reliance Nippon Life Asset Management (RNAM) for 16 years prior to becoming the leader of FinX.
