Fixed income investment platform Tap Invest raised $ 2 M Seed funding from Turbostart
A $2 million seed round led by Turbostart has been raised by fixed-income investment platform Tap Invest (previously Leaf Round). Along with angel investors like Kunal Shah and Kashyap Shah, Snow Leopard Ventures also invested in the round.
Upsparks and Superb Capital, the startup’s previous backers, also continued to support the platform in this round.
Tap Invest is a fintech startup that offers asset renting as an alternative investment product and claims to have experienced strong traction from its early users since its launch in April 2022. Tap Invest was founded by Nishchay Nath, Soumya Kushwaha, and Himashu Chowdhary.
The platform states that it has signed up more than 12,500 investors who regularly use it to make fixed-income investments through asset leasing and invoice discounting.
In April of last year, the startup raised $300K in pre-seed funding from Upsparks, Superb Capital, and senior business executives from McKinsey, Bain, Barclays, and Adobe.
