Funding agreements for startups worth Rs 196 crore were signed at IIIE Conclave

According to organizers, the India Innovation Impact & Entrepreneurship Conclave (IIIE Conclave), a significant event for startups and conventional corporations, saw the signing of deals totalling Rs 196 crore in investment for entrepreneurs. The startups made a total of 58 distinct pitches, including eight equity investments.

“A total of Rs 116 crore in equity and Rs 80 crore in debt have been pledged till now in the startups,” a statement said.

The colloquium at the Bengal Global Trade Expo increased job chances for aspirants and gave them access to funding options as well as a venue for investor-investee relationships.

During the closing session, angel investors like Gautam Sivaramakrishnan from Blume Ventures, start-up investor Gautam Vamshi, and Sayed T Husain, Executive Director of JP Morgan Chase & Co., were present.
