The generative artificial intelligence (GenAI) startup KonProz has raised $700,000 in a new funding round led by angel investors, RDB Group, and Dr. Ruchi Parekh.
The money raised will go toward expanding KonProz’s team and scaling operations to increase platform capabilities, as well as developing a Generative AI intellectual property for the legal domain.
KonProz, founded by Piyush Chopra and Shiladitya Dash, creates SaaS solutions for the legal, tax, and regulatory domains by utilizing cutting-edge technologies like GenAI.
KonProz asserts that since its launch, its flagship product, KonProz GPT—the first GenAI tool specifically trained on India’s tax, legal, and regulatory laws—has drawn a lot of attention.
KonProz has over 2,000 active users, including senior professionals from Big4s and Tier 1 law firms, since the release of its phase 1 product in November 2023. The company now hopes to develop a full suite of products.
Generative AI platforms have received a good amount of funding in their early phases over the last six months.
