”E-commerce industry has a lot of potentials and is expected to touch 5.9 trillion USD in 2023. 83% of the population is mobile penetrated which consists largely of youngsters. Everything can be ordered at the click of a button. So the thought of our local vendors, business proprietors, women entrepreneurs came into light,” he said.

”It is cost-effective for the upcoming entrepreneurs especially women entrepreneurs to showcase their homemade products and reach out to the public of Goa through this platform.
This also helps in women’s empowerment and promotes Gender Equality. This platform is also cost-effective as there are no operational concerns, less manpower, and no advertisement costs. They can sell it from home creating job opportunities to a large number of people,” he said.
