Healthtech firm Doctor Anywhere secured $40.8 M in Series C1 extension round
Singapore-based healthtech company Doctor Anywhere has raised US $40.8 million in a series C1 extension round. Novo Holdings and Square Peg are among the investors.
The business said in a statement that it will expand its secondary care services and create a “vertically integrated digital healthcare ecosystem” with the additional funds.
“Our goal is to empower individuals to take charge of their health and well-being with early detection and preventive measures against chronic illnesses,” said Lim Wai Mun, founder and CEO of Doctor Anywhere.
The company’s objectives are to expand its strategic alliances, launch new services, and look into acquisition possibilities. For more than US $76 million, it purchased Asian Healthcare Specialists, a provider of medical services, in December 2022.
Doctor Anywhere made US $38.2 million in revenue and lost US $33 million in revenue the previous year. As previously reported by Tech in Asia, the company hopes to boost its revenue to US $74 million by the end of this year.
Doctor Anywhere is a startup that offers telehealth, primary care, and specialty care on demand. It was founded in 2017. In Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, and the Philippines, there are 2.5 million users.
