Home furnishing installation startup Wify raised $3 M Pre-series A funding
In a pre-Series A round led by Mount Judi Ventures and current investor Capria Ventures, home furnishing installation startup Wify has raised Rs 25 crore ($3 million). Other investors, including Blume Founders Fund, also participated in the round.
In July 2022, the Mumbai-based company had previously raised $2 million during its most recent seed round.
According to a press release from Wify, the new funds will be used to expand into new markets, expand into current ones with more value-added services, and speed up capacity building, software, and technological advancements.
Wify connects modern home brands with knowledgeable technicians; it was founded in 2019 by Vikram Sharma and Deepanshu Goyal. Its SaaS platform provides real-time tracking, on-site project management, and simplified order management for both customers and brands.
Wify wants to use generative AI for customer service improvement, on-the-job support, and worker training and onboarding. The startup has over 3,000 technicians registered on its platform and operates in 100 Indian cities. It partners with over 100 top local and international brands, such as Godrej, Amazon, Hettich, and IKEA.
In the B2C market, Wify is rivaled by Urban Company, while a few local companies, including Mechanic2Home and Easyfix, are competitors in the B2B market.
