Humsafar, a company providing doorstep diesel services plans to expand to 200 cities
Humsafar India, a doorstep diesel services company, announced on Thursday that it wants to expand its services to 200 more locations throughout the nation this fiscal year in order to increase its market share in the category.
The corporation also stated that it is in talks with other companies about entering the industry of electric car charging stations.
The company operates in over 100 cities across India. According to a press release, the firm has devised a plan to further enter the sector while also exploring the potential in other markets.
Because of factors like global supply chain issues and fuel trade economics, structural constraints of the existing distribution model, changing consumer buying behaviour, and technological disruption, the doorstep fuel delivery model has grown rapidly across the country and scaled up even faster in the post-COVID era, according to Sanya Goel, cofounder of Humsafar India.
“Currently we have 20% of the market share for diesel at doorstep service and we plan to capture 30% share during the current financial year,” she added.
One of the company’s big achievements, she claimed, was putting diesel on wheels through mobile petrol pumps. She further said, “we want to reach each and every corner of India and revolutionise the distribution of all kinds of energy in future”.
