Jeh Aerospace raises $11 M from Elevation Capital

In a funding round led by Elevation Capital and including participation from current investors like San Francisco-based General Catalyst, the aerospace manufacturing firm Jeh Aerospace has raised $11 million.

It had previously raised $2.75 million in a seed fundraising round headed by General Catalyst, in which angel investors Pratyush Kumar and Dwarkanath Srinivas participated. Additionally, IndiGo Ventures provided it with undisclosed money last month.

According to a press statement from Jeh Aerospace, the money raised will be used to grow its workforce and improve its operations.

Vishal Sanghavi and Venkatesh Mudragalla co-founded Jeh Aerospace in 2022 to provide manufacturing, engineering, and supply chain management services to the worldwide aerospace and defense sector. It specializes in aerostructure and meets strict quality criteria for aero-engine assemblies and components.

Jeh Aerospace claims that it use software-defined manufacturing, which blends automation, artificial intelligence (AI), and cutting-edge software to create dependable and adaptable production systems that can mass-produce high-quality aerospace components.

It uses a hybrid model, with some internal manufacturing for some of the pieces.

“We will be investing significantly in our capabilities from this round across operations and technology and continue building strong teams in the US and India,” said Vishal Sanghavi, CEO of Jeh.

The goal of Jeh Aerospace is to address the industry’s global supply chain problems. The company’s scalable manufacturing facilities and carefully screened supplier networks offer ready-made manufacturing solutions to the A&D industry that meet or surpass international quality standards.
