Kabaddi platform Kabaddi Adda acquired by Sportzcraazy
Sportzcraazy, a sports technology and media company, has purchased Kabaddi Adda, a media content company. Sportzcraazy will gain control of Kabaddi Adda and the majority of the shares through the transaction.
According to a joint release from the two companies, Sportzcraazy and Kabaddi Adda’s combined audience in India will include more than 5 million monthly devotees. To expand local and regional player chances, Sportzcraazy intends to hold Kabaddi leagues and significant tournaments all across the nation.
Sportzcraazy, which was founded by Vaibhav Jaiswal and Aditee Gulati, specializes in sports media, merchandising, and events. In addition to kabaddi, it is also found in football, cricket, and esports. The website provides information on, predictions for, and five major sports, including esports, fantasy gaming, RMG, and kabaddi.
Sharks Vineeta Singh and Namita Thapar offered to invest Rs 80 lakh for 6% of Kabaddi Adda, the first sports firm to accept an offer on Shark Tank. Kabaddi Adda was valued at Rs 13.33 crore. Artha Venture Funds also provided funding to Kabaddi Adda in 2019.
The parent business of the sports news and analysis website Sportskeeda, Absolute Sports, which is owned by Nazara Technologies, purchased a 73.27% share in the US-based Pro Football Network LLC last week.
