Kisanserv, an agritech startup set revenue target of Rs 100 crore by 2023

Kisanserv, a Pune-based full-stack agritech business that received INR 10 crore in its seed round, has seen its profits quadruple this year. They have been able to mobilise and optimise their supply chains thanks to their tech-enabled collection centres and well-connected warehouses. It is on course to achieve Rs 50 crore in annual revenue by the end of 2023, with a goal of Rs 100 crore or more. The firm made Rs 6 crore in 2020–21, Rs 17 crore in 2021–22, and is now making Rs 50 crore in ARR, with the goal of reaching Rs 100 crore by the end of this year or early 2023.

“We have seen phenomenal growth in recent years and, going forward, we want to strengthen our countrywide presence and boost our tech capabilities and network, majorly in the interiors. We already enjoy a wide network across different districts of Maharashtra, and we are currently running operations in Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, Pune, and Pimpri Chinchwad,” Kisanserv Co-founder and CEO Niranjan Sharma said.

In the near future, we want to gain more market share and expand our services across India. In order to deliver on our commitment, we will also be looking forward to a larger equity investment in this quarter, Sharma added. Its focus is on the inbound supply chain, where it is expanding its huge network of tech-enabled collection centres, eliminating backend issues, and assisting e-commerce businesses in delivering items in record time. As a result, the organisation has established itself as the backbone of hyper delivery applications and Kirana stores in Maharashtra’s main cities.

To reduce margin leakage, improved profitability, and stakeholder empowerment, the firm has developed mobile applications for farmers to help them better understand market pricing, eliminate intermediaries, and build direct links between producers and customers.
