The UK-based company Klipboard, a global supplier of vertically focused business management software, has purchased the South African startup Skynamo, a unified sales operations platform.
Skynamo, which was first established as Honeybee in 2012, is a unified sales operations platform created especially for manufacturers, wholesalers, and distributors. With its mobile-first, cloud-based technology, it supports almost 1,000 customers, facilitates over US$70 million in monthly order value for its clients, and allows millions of customer interactions annually.
The company raised a US$30 million Series A funding round in January 2020 after expanding to the US and the UK. Klipboard, a vertically focused cloud-based business management software provider with over 55,000 enterprise and SMB clients worldwide, has now acquired the company.
As the platform continues to grow, the move enhances Skynamo’s capacity to support intricate sales and operational environments for almost 1,000 businesses every day throughout Sub-Saharan Africa, the UK, and the US.
The collaboration strengthens and connects the distributive industries’ technology ecosystem by improving Skynamo’s capacity to integrate more thoroughly with ERP and business management systems.
