Legaltech startup LegalKart raised Rs 6.5 Cr from IIM Udaipur Incubation Center

The legal advice platform LegalKart raised Rs 6.5 crore from the IIM Udaipur Incubation Center in its most recent funding round. Shift Alt Cap, Aevitas Capital, and others have also taken part.

The Gurugram-based startup had raised Rs 4 crore in its pre-Series A round earlier in January 2022, with Mumbai Angels and other investors leading the effort.

The company’s growth and the advancement of its AI-enabled legal technology solutions will be accelerated by the proceeds.

LegalKart, which was founded in 2019 by Arvind Singhatiya, offers legal services along with AI-driven documentation, consultations, and customized digital solutions.

To ensure greater accessibility, the platform enables users to make audio and video calls with attorneys and legal professionals in all Indian languages.

Beyond just providing consultations, LegalKart also provides services like convenient legal document review and drafting, vehicle challan payments, and property document verification.

According to LegalKart, the company’s revenue has increased by 453% in the past eight months. In order to support this exponential growth, launch new AI-driven products, and increase LegalKart’s footprint in tier II and tier III cities in India, the recently invested funds will be strategically used.
