Legends League Cricket raised Rs 39 Cr from Dubai-based Brickwork

Brickwork has contributed Rs 39 crore to the Legends League Cricket (LLC), a senior cricket league valued at Rs 350 crore.

LLC stated in a news release that the funds will be used for expansion plans.

The league, which was co-founded in 2021 by Vivek Khushalani and Raman Raheja, consists of six franchises: the Gujarat Giants, Bhilwara Kings, Manipal Tigers, India Capitals, Urban Risers Hyderabad, and Southern Superstars. Investors including Vikram Singhania, Jayant Davar, Sanjay Gupta, and Arvind Singhania support the league.

The forthcoming season of LLC is a franchise format with six teams made up of legendary cricket players. Chris Gayle, Aaron Finch, Harbhajan Singh, Irfan Pathan, and Ross Taylor are among the players anticipated to take part.

Matches for Legends League Cricket (LLC) 2024 are slated to take place in both India and Qatar between September 11 and October 5, 2024.

In the previous year, the platform reportedly attracted 1.56 billion viewers worldwide, and it hopes to win over even more followers. In an effort to create a historic season and elevate cricket’s celebratory vibe in the area, the schedule has been expanded to include 34 matches featuring cricket legends.
