Merak Ventures led undisclosed Pre-series A funding raised by debt collections infrastructure firm CredResolve

With participation from current investors Unleash Capital Partners and CDM Capital, the debt collections infrastructure company CredResolve has raised an undisclosed sum in a pre-Series A round led by Merak Ventures.
The Gurugram-based business had previously raised $100K in an angel round from PedalStart, Tujala Goud, and others in February 2024, and $1.1 million in a seed round led by Unleash Capital Partners and CDM Capital in March of last year.
According to a press release, the company plans to use the proceeds to build a self-serve platform for lenders, scale its multilingual AI and voice capabilities, and extend operations to 15 states.
CredResolve is a full-stack, AI-powered debt collections infrastructure company that serves banks, NBFCs, fintechs, and microfinance institutions throughout India. It was co-founded in 2023 by Balaji Koustubha and Vijay Kumar. To promote outcome-based collections, its platform combines digital channels, AI voice bots, a field agent network, and legal automation.
CredResolve runs its own infrastructure, providing lenders with real-time visibility into performance and recovery outcomes across channels, in contrast to software-only solutions or conventional outsourcing models.
Currently, the company is a member of the NVIDIA Inception Program and oversees assets worth over $6 billion in 12 states.
