Microsoft to integrate ChatGPT to its Azure OpenAI Service
Microsoft will soon include ChatGPT, an intelligent chatbot developed by OpenAI that has sparked significant debate over both its advantages and disadvantages, in its app development platform Azure OpenAI Service.
The IT behemoth has announced the broad release of Azure OpenAI Service, which enables users to create apps using OpenAI’s projects. They consist of the image generator DALL-E 2 and GPT-3.5, which was ChatGPT’s forerunner.
According to a statement from Azure, it is the only cloud service provider now providing access to scale-up and scale-out AI supercomputers.
“We’ve learned a lot from the ChatGPT research preview and have been making important updates based on user feedback. ChatGPT will be coming to our API and Microsoft’s Azure OpenAI Service soon,” said OpenAI in a tweet.
This development comes after it was said that Microsoft wanted to give OpenAI a US$10 billion check, which would have valued the maker of ChatGPT at over US $29 billion.
