MochaTrade raises Pre-seed funding led by Y Combinator, Pioneer Fund

MochaTrade, a global trading platform focused on perpetual futures linked to US stocks, commodities, and indices, has raised an undisclosed pre-seed round from Y Combinator and Pioneer Fund as part of Y Combinator’s Spring 2026 batch.
The money will be utilized to support go-to-market initiatives, finish regulatory and compliance tasks, and construct the trading engine and risk infrastructure.
The startup, which was founded by Utkarsh Sinha, Chetan Manda, and Parth Maheshwari, is developing a mobile-first platform with the goal of providing qualified users with leveraged exposure to assets like Apple, Tesla, gold, and the S&P 500 through perpetual futures products.
Users can redeploy capital as soon as positions are closed thanks to the platform’s real-time settlement and continuous trading features.
Subject to local laws and regulatory approvals, MochaTrade intends to launch initially in developing markets.
The founding team had previously worked for consumer technology and fintech companies. Parth Maheshwari had previously worked at Adobe and Navi, Chetan Manda had previously worked at Sprinklr, and Utkarsh Sinha had previously co-founded Martian Wallet.
