Nora Fatehi invested undisclosed amount in Cloud Kitchen Curefoods

Bollywood actress Nora Fatehi has made an undisclosed investment in cloud kitchen operator Curefoods and has been appointed CakeZone, the company’s dessert brand, as its brand ambassador.

Varun Dhawan, who invested in Curefoods in April of this year and took on the role of the face of the company’s flagship brand EatFit, is the actor Varun Dhawan’s predecessor.

CakeZone has more than 85 cloud kitchens and provides a variety of cakes and pastries to clients in 14 locations. By the end of this year, the company, which presently focuses mostly on South India, hopes to have roughly 125 cloud kitchens worldwide.

“Having her [Fatehi] as an investor in Curefoods is a close integration and association with her. Her belief in our capabilities encourages us to further scale to greater heights,” said Ankit Nagori, founder of Curefoods.

Curefoods, operated across 15 cities and led by Nagori, is India’s fastest-growing cloud kitchen provider. The organization is home to businesses including EatFit, Aligarh House Biryani, and CakeZone, among others. Winter Capital led the $43 million fundraising round.

“I believe in celebrating the finer things in life, the small moments, and CakeZone, with their offerings, make for the perfect culinary hot spot to add a little sweetness to those moments. I strongly believe in the promise of CureFoods and I’m thrilled to invest in them,” Fatehi said.
