Omni-channel FMCG brand Adukale received investment from NuVentures

As part of its ongoing round, early-stage backer NuVentures has contributed money to the omnichannel FMCG brand Adukale.

The Bengaluru-based company had previously raised Rs 11 crore in a funding round headed by Force Ventures, in which Aanya Ventures and Accel’s partner Subrata Mitra also participated.

With a new 20,000 square foot production facility recently opened on the outskirts of Bengaluru, the ready-to-eat and ready-to-cook brand intends to scale its products and increase production capacity by over four times.

Adukale, which Kaushik founded in 2009, says it sells more than 75 products that are made without preservatives using natural ingredients. The brand is present in supermarkets and has developed a distribution network throughout Karnataka.

Along with its expanding e-commerce presence, Adukale boasts 20 experience centers located in Bengaluru and Mysuru.

About 60 products make up its current portfolio, which includes a wide range of snacks, chutneys, instant mixes, masalas, and sweets.

NuVentures has been making a concerted effort to support and grow D2C brands. It previously made an investment in the skincare line Foxtale. Mu Sigma and Acko, PocketAces, Foxtale, Geist Beer, and Third Wave Coffee are a few of the businesses in its portfolio.
