Orange Ventures seed challenge invites Egyptian fintech startups for application
Orange Ventures has announced the launch of its “Seed Challenge – Fintech Egypt,” which will provide EUR 500,000 (US $570,000) in investment to one business.
Orange Ventures, the telecoms business Orange Group’s corporate venture capital arm, established its Orange Digital Centre in Cairo in December and has now launched a fintech seed competition.
Seed-stage fintech companies, mostly based in Egypt, are encouraged to apply if they have not secured more than EUR 1 million (US $1.14 million) in total equity capital.
In addition to the investment, the winning firm will spend six months at the Orange Digital Centre, where they will have access to workspace and mentorship programmes, as well as the opportunity to present to Orange Egypt’s executive committee and negotiate cooperation options.
You may apply online till February 15th.
