Plenome Technologies raises Rs 6.5 Cr Seed funding

Plenome Technologies, which is incubated at IIT Madras, has raised Rs 6.5 crore in its seed round from a variety of Indian and international investors, including angel investor Manish Gandhi, UAE-based AADI, and lead investor Ovington Capital Partners (Luxembourg).

The money raised will help Plenome expand into international markets using its patented Blockchain-AI stack, which is suited for industries like remote voting, healthcare, and organ donation.

Plenome, which was founded by Prof. Prabhu Rajagopal, a Shanti Swarup Bhatnagar Awardee, Vijayaraja Rathinasamy, and Anirudh Varna, is creating digital infrastructure for sensitive data applications that is safe, scalable, and interoperable.

While its remote voting platform, BlockVote, has been successfully implemented at IIT Madras and is currently being pitched for large-scale enterprise elections, its “BlockTrack OrganEase” solution is already undergoing trial runs with the state transplant authority.

With plans to enter the eye care, cosmetic, and reproductive industries, Plenome is also testing its AI-powered healthtech suite, “Ashwin,” for structured, multilingual data collection in dental clinics.

Plenome seeks to integrate data creation, management, and diagnostics while maintaining user control and data privacy through its AI-driven front end and DLT-powered backend.
