Qoruz raises $500K Pre-series A funding from The Chennai Angels

The Chennai Angels have contributed $500K to Qoruz, a platform for creator intelligence and collaboration, as part of its ongoing pre-Series A round, which aims to raise $1 million. Founders from the media and advertising ecosystem, agency executives, and senior marketing professionals also participated in the round.
In a previous seed funding round, the Bengaluru-based startup raised 4.5 crore from the IIM Indore Alumni Fund and Dexter Angels.
According to a press release from Qoruz, the money will be used to increase its AI capabilities, diversify into new market verticals, and fortify its global presence with an emphasis on the Middle East and Southeast Asia.
In 2014, Praanesh Bhuvaneswar, Prabakaran B, Aditya Gurwara, and Priya Vivek co-founded Qoruz, a platform for creator intelligence and collaboration that assists brands in finding, assessing, and working with creators to achieve quantifiable business results. With the help of the platform, marketers can now approach creator collaboration as a methodical, data-driven channel as opposed to an instinctive strategy.
“We’re not just building a platform, we’re building an ecosystem for the creator economy, where creators are central to how products are discovered, trusted, and bought. For this to scale meaningfully, it needs more than connections; it needs infrastructure. This capital allows us to deepen that foundation and bring operational precision to a space that has long operated on instinct,” said Praanesh Bhuvaneswar, co-founder and CEO of Qoruz.
With enterprise client adoption increasing three times year over year, Qoruz aims to reach $30 million ARR by 2026. Amazon, Flipkart, Jiostar, Dabur, L’Oréal, and Coca-Cola are among the more than 1,000 brands and agencies that the company claims have used its platform.
