Rs 70 Cr Series A funding raised by cross-border logistics platform Agraga

Agraga, a platform for international logistics, has raised Rs 70 crore in a Series A round that was led by IvyCap Ventures and included Alteria.

According to a press release from Agraga, the company plans to use the funds to expand across India, from its current presence in three cities to over 15 cities by March 2024, and to upgrade its technology stack to offer end-to-end solutions.

In December 2021, Venkatesh Narayanaswamy and Anoop Raghavan co-founded Agraga, a logistics company that uses local methodologies to provide comprehensive logistics solutions. Rail and road transportation, air and sea freight, warehousing, customs, insurance, and finance are among the range of services it offers. The ecosystem of the business is driven by thorough data analysis, integrating partners, curating products, and optimizing supply chains to deliver customized and adaptable solutions that meet the unique needs of each customer.

Agraga claims that by doing away with multiple middlemen, its platform provides price discoverability, transparency, route optimization, and faster turnaround times. By providing MSMEs and enterprises with access to asset capacity and price discovery, as well as visibility and execution solutions, it aims to empower them and help them advance their logistics operations.

Providing them with solutions in more than 30 countries around the world, Agraga claims to have a clientele of over 200 customers from the enterprise segment and MSMEs, as well as more than 500 connected partners.
