SA fintech Stitch to host third annual Scale Summit in October
The third annual Scale Summit, with the theme “The Year of the Consumer,” will take place in Johannesburg on Thursday, October 3, at the invitation of South African payments infrastructure company Stitch.
Stitch is a payments infrastructure company that was founded in February 2021 and assists companies in growing more quickly and running more effectively. Businesses from a variety of industries can connect to the financial system and provide their customers with delightful experiences with less effort thanks to the Stitch payments API and tools.
The startup has now raised US$52 million in funding, including its latest US$25 million Series A extension round, and has grown to become an end-to-end payments service provider. In 2022, Stitch held its inaugural Scale Summit. A year later, it held its second, and this October, it will hold its third.
“South African consumers today are participating more than ever in online commerce, with higher expectations for seamless and engaging experiences. In our third annual Scale Summit, we’ll explore what the South African consumer mindset looks like today and how brands should think about reaching and engaging their customers – including how the role of payments innovation in enabling customer acquisition and retention,” said Thea Sokolowski, head of marketing and communications at Stitch.
The event, which will take place at The Venue Melrose Arch, will see the Stitch team collaborate with AB InBev. Attendees can attend for free, but space is limited. Here, visitors can view the speakers and agenda, as well as express interest in attending.
