Saudi social network platform Bubbl raised $350K Pre-seed funding
Social media company Bubbl has revealed that it has raised $350,000 in a pre-Seed funding round headed by angel investor Abdullah Al-Dosari.
Aya Al-Hammoud launched the Bubbl app in March, and it quickly became popular, gaining 60,000 daily active users. The app even held the top spot in the Saudi App Store and was acknowledged as a remarkable communication tool on the Apple App Store.
In the near future, Bubbl wants to reach one million daily active users. The new investment will help achieve this ambitious goal by bolstering the app’s presence in Saudi Arabia and propelling its growth into regional and international markets.
Investor Abdullah Al-Dosari cited Bubbl as a shining example of a local app that can successfully compete in markets that were previously controlled by international platforms. He went on to say that this achievement demonstrates the potential of Saudi-based tech applications.
Approximately 80% of Bubbl’s active users are Saudi Arabian, and 98% of them use iPhones to access the platform. Additionally, the app has reached over 10 million users through its marketing campaigns across multiple social media platforms, demonstrating the effectiveness of its marketing initiatives.
Saudi applications’ place on the global tech map is being cemented by Bubbl, which is opening doors for innovation and local talent. As the platform expands, keep checking back for more updates.
