Second batch of climate crisis program launched by Amasia
The second class of AxBC, free training for business owners that prioritize tackling environmental concerns including climate catastrophe and sustainability, was introduced by international VC company Amasia. Similar to the first batch hosted last year, the company collaborated on the program with Behaviour Change, a social organization located in London.
According to a release from Amasia, AxBC will provide lectures, workshops, a library of route maps, and exercises. Participants will participate in a presentation session with a panel of venture capitalists at the program’s conclusion.
Representatives from nine firms were chosen by AxBC to participate in its initial batch. Up to 300 applications are anticipated for the second round.
Amasia is a venture capital firm searching for businesses that wish to address climate catastrophe and sustainability issues. It was founded in 2013 by Ramanan Raghavendran and John Kim. It intends to fund entrepreneurs worldwide from the seed through Series B stages.
Super app GoTo Group, unicorn payment gateway company Xendit, and social commerce startup Super are just a few of the companies in Amasia’s portfolio.
