Second edition of DMZ Cairo Incubator opens applications
The second year of the DMZm incubator program, which supports early-stage tech firms, is now accepting applications.
The next generation of tech entrepreneurs will be given the resources they need by DMZ Cairo, established in 2021, to create, launch, and expand significant firms in Egypt’s capital. DMZ Cairo is financed by the Academy of Scientific Research and Technology (ASRT) and the National Technological Incubators program and is housed on the campus of the University of Canada in the New Administrative Capital (INTILAC).
Seven tech businesses in the fields of travel, law, advertising, construction, health, and e-commerce are now participating in the incubator’s first and only cycle. The following companies are anticipated to present during September’s first DMZ Cairo demo day: Let’s, Contrato, ElMoqawel, Boarda, Pharmezi, EIIN, and Inks on Things.
The incubator offers a high-impact, high-intensity, and highly customized program that includes fully furnished workspaces, individualized support from dedicated program leads and mentors, peer-to-peer sessions, expert-led workshops, networking opportunities, and access to the North American startup ecosystem.
The program will start in November, and applications for the second round are accepted online through September 29.
