Senegalese e-health startup Eyone raises $1.7 M funding from FONSIS

The investment arm of FONSIS, Oyass Capital, has contributed CFA1 billion (US$1.7 million) to Senegalese e-health startup Eyone.
Henri Ousmane Gueye and John Diatta founded Eyone in 2015. The company, which won Africa’s Business Heroes competition in 2025, has created a medical interoperability platform that gives patients and healthcare providers access to real-time medical records.
In order to guarantee the availability of trustworthy and secure medical data throughout a patient’s care pathway, the startup worked with the Senegalese government in 2024 to establish the Unique Shared Patient File.
Oyass Capital, a local venture capital firm supported by Senegal’s sovereign wealth fund FONSIS, has now given it US$1.7 million. This is Oyass Capital’s final investment in Eyone, which has also obtained funding from SONATEL Group.
