Shatablee, an Egyptian interior design firm raised $1.2 M to expand across Egypt

Shatablee, an Egyptian digital interior design and home remodelling firm, has acquired $1.2 million in investment to help it expand across Egypt.

Shatablee, founded in 2021 by Mostafa Amer, is a 3D technology-powered digital platform that allows customers to construct and customise house designs in less than 30 minutes and have them built in 90 days.

Users begin by choosing their unit type inside their home compound and then browsing a gallery of several design packages. They may then personalise the designs for each room in their apartment, pick from a choice of financing options, and place their purchase. Shatablee begins the build phase as soon as the order is verified, and the full process is completed in 90 days.

The company has now raised US $1.2 million in finance to help it expand its operations in Egypt.

“The sheer size and fragmentation of the market play to our advantage. We believe that Shatablee is best suited to address the asymmetries faced by customers as well as professionals in the market, be it the lack of financing, the prolonged time to deliver that may take up to 12 months, the limited price transparency or the inadequate quality of houses created across many segments, especially within gated communities,” said Amer.
