Singapore wireless charging solutions firm Xnergy receives investment from Woori Venture Partners
Woori Venture Partners, a South Korean venture capital fund, has made a sizable investment in Xnergy Autonomous Power Technologies (Xnergy), the company announced Wednesday.
Given Xnergy’s developments in high-power wireless charging for industrial robots and electric vehicles, the company said in a statement that this move furthers Woori Venture Partners’ dedication to supporting innovative technology in the quickly developing domains of new energy and mobility solutions.
Woori Venture Partners’ investment supports Xnergy’s objectives to enter new markets and industries, such as new energy vehicles.
This funding puts Xnergy in a position to spearhead innovation in wireless charging solutions, building on previous investments from Hyundai Motor Group and Accuron Technologies (a division of Singapore’s Temasek Holdings).
This collaboration with Woori Venture Partners is a major turning point for Xnergy as it quickens its growth trajectory and provides cutting-edge wireless charging solutions to satisfy the needs of a world market that is changing quickly.
“This investment from Woori Venture Partners is a testament to the strength of our technology and potential to reshape autonomous electrified mobility,
“It provides us with the resources and strategic support needed to accelerate our expansion efforts,” said Dr Hu Xiaolei, Chief Technology Officer of Xnergy.
“Together, we are not only advancing innovation but also ensuring that Xnergy continues to deliver cutting-edge solutions to meet the evolving demands of our customers worldwide,” he added.
Woori Venture Partners’ director, Alan Ang, stated that the company is thrilled to support Xnergy’s goal of becoming a world leader in wireless charging for new energy sectors.
“We have invested globally into batteries, mobility and robotics startups and believe that Xnergy’s breakthrough technology will be crucial in driving the next wave of sustainable growth in these industries,
“We look forward to working with Xnergy’s best-in-class team to support its growth plans,” he added.
Xnergy, a prominent supplier of high-power wireless charging solutions for all autonomous electrified mobility, was founded in Singapore in 2018 with an emphasis on emerging markets.
With a robust pipeline of clients and partners that includes mobile robot companies, system integrators, and end users, the company’s products are sold in almost 40 countries throughout Europe, America, and Asia.
Both robot and vehicle-specific solutions are available in Xnergy’s product line.
On-demand trickle charging is supported by Xnergy’s 3–9kW wireless non-contact charging systems for mobile robots.
For quick and effective energy management, Xnergy provides 22kW, 800V two-way charging and discharging solutions for electric vehicles.
The company’s in-house technology has the highest power density, universal compatibility, and a compact design, among other benefits.
In order to satisfy different client needs while maintaining cost-effectiveness, Xnergy has introduced modular designs with an emphasis on scalability and customization.
Over one million successful charging cycles have been made possible by the company’s deployment of thousands of charging modules across more than 60 product categories, ranging from ambulances to warehouse robots.
Increasing charging power to 10kW and higher is part of the company’s strategic focus to meet the changing demands of electric vehicles and robots.
