Singapore’s Supermom raised $14 M Series B funding from AC Ventures, others
Supermom, an AI consumer data platform created by and for mothers with its headquarters in Singapore, has raised S$18 million ($14 million) in a Series B funding round.
Alongside Granite Asia, the round’s lead investor, and Hearst Ventures, returning investors AC Ventures and Qualgro also took part.
According to a statement released by the company on Monday, the funding comes less than two years after Supermom’s Series A round of S$8 million ($6 million) in December 2022, which was led by Qualgro. It confirms Supermom’s position as an innovator using AI and data to generate value for families and consumer brands.
Mothers, families, and local communities are the consumers that Supermom claims to be connecting brands with. Over 10 million parents in Southeast Asia, over 6,000 online communities, and over 250 consumer brands—including global behemoths like AIA, Abbott Laboratories, and Kimberly Clark, as well as local behemoths like Mandiri, Indofood, and Wings Group—are part of its thriving ecosystem and network.
Supermom has shown that it can help families make informed decisions about their consumption and lifestyle. Supermom also helps connect like-minded parents and gives moms the chance to earn money in return for their user-generated content and insights.
In order to improve its product offerings and spur innovation to offer brands and customers more value, the company will use the money to invest in AI capabilities and international expansion. Expanding the team is a top priority in order to speed up development.
Commenting on the funding, Luke Lim, CEO of Supermom said, “We are grateful to our investors – both new and returning – for believing in our vision and extending their support. As a company we remain committed to building the largest AI driven data platform in SEA connecting brands and consumers. Our track record in the last four years of scaling the business by focusing on our core solutions and core clients have helped us to build a solid foundation for growth.”
Joan Ong, a former managing director of international MICE organizer Terrapinn, along with Luke Lim and Supermom’s chief of staff Rebecca Koh, founded Supermom.
