Thailand’s 10Ants received $500K Pre-Seed funding from Wavemaker Impact

10Ants Enterprise, a Thai urban revitalization company, has received $500,000 in Wavemaker Impact Pre-Seed funding to help realize its mission of transforming Southeast Asia’s underutilized urban buildings into green, lively hubs for SMEs.
According to a statement released by 10Ants Enterprise on Wednesday, the funding will expedite the company’s efforts to convert underutilized spaces—such as the upper floors of conventional shophouses and abandoned warehouses—into reasonably priced, environmentally friendly commercial spaces that benefit nearby business owners and property owners.
“Bangkok’s shophouses and warehouses are full of untapped potential, and the SME sector is hungry for space that supports their growth,
“We saw a unique opportunity to bridge this gap. Our approach is not just about leasing space – it is about building a more sustainable and inclusive urban economy, one street at a time,” said Chatchanart Jiratornsirikul (JoeZ), Chief Executive Officer and Founder of 10Ants.
10Ants wants to expand its in-house property-technology platform (Prop-Tech) in the mid-term to provide SMEs with a full range of value-added services and consulting to support their entire growth journey, in addition to real estate matchmaking.
Location-specific market insights are part of this. The examples, which help business owners choose high-impact locations for their establishments, include foot traffic density analysis and consumer traffic flow.
In order to help business owners make the best choices possible in areas like sourcing, procurement, and even legal administration, the service also offers eco-business management-as-a-service with integrated advisory support.
The service also offers expansion planning, which analyzes and suggests growth prospects using both internal and external databases.
10Ants is dedicated to environmental sustainability in addition to assisting SMEs in their economic growth.
By providing tenants with access to environmentally friendly upgrades like inverter air conditioning and internet of things (IoT)-enabled energy management systems, which result in significant long-term cost savings, and a carefully chosen assortment of “Green Choice” products that support sustainable business practices, the company encourages green operations among its tenants.
These include low-energy ventilation controls, grease traps that extend the life of waste-management systems, and Internet of Things-enabled smart lighting and cooling devices.
“10Ants is unlocking a long-overlooked opportunity: SME-owned real estate,
“While SME-owned property represents over 80 percent of the commercial real-estate footprint globally, it remains underserved by traditional property players,” said Quentin Vaquette, Founding Partner at Wavemaker Impact.
