The B2B SaaS Startup Wise Guys accelerator now accepting applications
The third edition of the Startup Wise Guys accelerator is now accepting applications. Selected B2B Saas startups can apply for funding of up to EUR 100,000 (US $110,000) and receive intensive five months of mentorship.
Established in 2012, Startup Wise Guys oversees cybersecurity programs from Cosenza and SaaS accelerator programs out of Milan. The company was founded in Tallinn, Estonia. Thus far, the company has collaborated with over 600 founders, invested in over 235 startups, and witnessed a few exits.
In February of this year, the company closed the first EUR25 million (US$26.7 million) of a EUR45 million (US $48 million) fund, which will be used in part to scale up operations in Africa. According to media reports, the company expanded to Africa in 2021 and held its first program in Namibia.
Selected startups will receive invitations to take part in an intensive five-month accelerator program that combines online modules with mentors and experts from both local and international networks. In exchange for an equity stake of up to 12% of the funding, they will have access to EUR 100,000 (US $110,000).
Businesses operating in English-speaking startups from all over Africa are welcome to apply; Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya, Rwanda, and Uganda will receive special attention from the committee. The best technologies are climate, agri, and fintech.
Applications are accepted through September 7th.
