The Func. Lab raises $1.5 M Seed funding from Nisaba Godrej, Anand Piramal and others
Nisaba Godrej, Anand Piramal, Abhishek Nayar, Bhakti Modi, Harsh Parekh, and Sahil Vora are among the investors who contributed $1.5 million to startup with a nutrition focus, The Func. Lab’s seed fundraising round.
The new funding will be used by the business to broaden its range of products, improve supply chain capabilities, bolster distribution, and scale across digital, fast commerce, and offline retail channels.
The Func. Lab, which was founded in 2025 by celebrity fitness trainer Sohrab Khushrushahi, Sahil Kukreja, and Daneesh Davar, provides nutrition products in the areas of protein, hydration, and functional health. Electrolytes, whey protein concentrate, whey protein isolate, and plant protein products are among its offerings.
The company asserts that their goods go through independent testing to confirm their quality and are free of gums, emulsifiers, anti-caking agents, artificial sweeteners, and proprietary blends.
The Func. Lab has grown through D2C, e-commerce, fast commerce, and offline retail channels since its July 2025 inception. The firm is now concentrating on the hydration market and intends to increase distribution throughout India while broadening its selection of electrolyte and recovery solutions.
