IBS Software has collaborated with Fly Gangwon, a South Korean Tourism Convergence Carrier (TCC) airline company, to overhaul its distribution and bookings capabilities.
As the company continues to recover, it aims to recruit and keep consumers as well as increase income through domestic air travel in South Korea.
Fly Gangwon will install IBS Software’s iFly Res platform to replace its limited, traditional booking system with a completely digital, omnichannel platform that will enable it to promote and distinguish products and offers across numerous channels, changing the customer experience.
Fly Gangwon’s technology was unable to gather information about customers or send personalised offers. Fly Gangwon will be able to dynamically manage client profiles, develop distinct B2B and B2C online booking engines, and greatly improve indirect distribution by moving to the iFly Res cloud platform.
These capabilities will improve the airline’s shopping experience and customer happiness, providing it a competitive advantage in the low-cost market in South Korea.
