Travel-tech company Holiday Tribe raises Rs 25 Cr Pre-series A funding

The pre-Series A round of Holiday Tribe, a travel-tech company that specializes in leisure travel, raised Rs 25 crore, or about $2.85 million, and was led by Powerhouse Ventures, GSF, and other angel investors.
Both debt and equity are part of the funding. This follows its Rs 5.4 crore seed round in September 2024. The company says it has more than tripled in size since then.
The additional funding will be utilized to enhance its desktop and mobile platforms, fortify supplier networks, and grow its AI infrastructure. It intends to improve customer service, itinerary optimization, and real-time personalization. In order to provide travelers with more individualized choices, it will also expand its network of hotels and activities.
Anshu Sharma and Chirag Goyal founded Holiday Tribe, which has planned vacations to over 30 locations throughout the world. Over 100,000 hotels and one million activities worldwide are covered by its supply network. Additionally, it has collaborated with travel bureaus in Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Dubai, Mauritius, and Switzerland.
The startup wants to reach an annualized GMV of Rs 500 crore in the next 18 to 24 months. It focuses on giving Indian tourists easy, customized vacation experiences.
The luxury vacation rental website ELIVAAS raised Rs 87 crore, or roughly $10 million, in Series B funding earlier today under the direction of Vertex Ventures Southeast Asia & India.
