Travel tech company Rimigo raised $550K Pre-seed funding

In a pre-seed funding round, Japan-based Reazon Capital and SGgrow Capital co-led the $550,000 acquisition of travel-tech startup Rimigo. Indian angel investors S Ramadorai, Ravi Nigam, Shashank Deshpande, and Ujjwal Jain also participated in the round.

According to a press release from Rimigo, the money raised will be utilized to support product development, recruit skilled personnel, and grow its staff of technology and travel specialists.

Sahil Sharma, Shubham Chintalwar, and Aditya Shirole co-founded Rimigo in 2024 with the goal of making international travel easier through AI-driven personalization, curated travel insights, and integrated collaborative tools. With the help of the platform’s AI-powered end-to-end vacation planning solution, users only need to choose their destination and preferred activities; it will then create comprehensive itineraries, suggest flights, and curate options for lodging, dining, and entertainment.

It tackles major issues that travelers encounter, including complicated procedures, information overload, limited personalization, and local knowledge, claims the Bengaluru-based company.

In order to make international travel more accessible and pleasurable, Rimigo claims that it will integrate collaborative tools, AI-powered advice, and carefully chosen booking options. It intends to use AI advancements to provide a singular opportunity for a customized vacation planning experience.

According to Rimigo, during its beta phase, it has already planned more than 120 trips, of which about 50 have been completed. Many users have also referred friends or are planning their next trips with us. Planning is still underway for the final 70 trips.
