Wealth management firm ILIOS 72 Alternative Capital raised Rs 1 Cr Seed funding

In a seed funding round, a group of family offices contributed Rs 1 crore to the wealth management company ILIOS 72 Alternative Capital. This is the first external raise for the company.

According to a press release from ILIOS 72 Alternative Capital, the money raised will be used to expand the company’s operations, establish a presence outside of metropolitan areas, and gain greater access to international markets.

ILIOS 72 Alternative Capital is a cutting-edge wealth management platform that was co-founded in 2025 by Shivansh Sabharwal and Valmik Iyer with the goal of redefining access to alternative investments for long-term Indian investors. Additionally, the company wants to open up private markets to more people and provide investment opportunities for the general public. The company is trying to remove obstacles and provide more people with the resources they need to create true wealth.

It uses an open-architecture model and prioritizes customer outcomes over sales targets, according to ILIOS 72. Through an open, research-driven process, the company assists individuals and families in gaining access to alternative investments, including venture capital, private equity, marquee listed equity strategies, and foreign investment opportunities.

India’s financial landscape is undergoing significant change at the time of the fund raise. Wealth is increasing, more families are becoming knowledgeable about long-term investing, and there is a rapidly growing need for individualized, evidence-based guidance. ILIOS 72 hopes to be a long-term partner in helping families navigate these new financial opportunities.

Several well-known business families are among the 100 clients ILIOS 72 claims to have onboarded. In addition, the company asserts that it has a solid track record of managing substantial assets for family offices and HNI/UHNI clients in their prior positions, as well as a track record of successful transactions in the private markets that drew in investors.
