Travel-tech SaaS startup Ziptrrip raised Rs 2 Cr Pre-seed funding from angel investors, others
Travel technology Anil K. Jha, Prantik Dasgupta, and other angel investors contributed Rs 2 crore to the pre-seed funding round of SaaS startup Ziptrrip.
According to a press release from Ziptrrip, the additional funds will be used to enhance team-building initiatives, expand the company’s market reach, and promote ongoing product innovation.
Shan Prabhakaran and Rishabh Agarwal co-founded Ziptrrip in 2020, providing a complete end-to-end solution that combines expense management and travel reservations. With the help of this platform, companies can effectively handle travel and expenses from a single, centralized interface.
Ziptrrip claims to be able to do away with the need for traditional travel agencies by providing a number of advantages such as no markup, best-in-industry pricing, and access to corporate fares with low cancellation fees. Through a meta-supply backend, the platform delivers the valuable fares by utilizing AI and cutting-edge technology to analyze customer travel patterns and policy compliance.
Since its founding, Ziptrrip says it has maintained profitability by partnering with over 250 corporate clients.
