TUTRRD launched app to bridge the gap between after-school tutoring and online learning

TUTRRD, a K-12 online learning and teaching platform that focuses on one-on-one interactive learning, has released an app to bridge the gap between after-school tuition and virtual education. The platform intends to bridge the gap between after-school tuitions and virtual education by allowing teachers to conduct lessons at their leisure and earn extra money, therefore giving students from all boards personalized, convenient, and inexpensive learning alternatives.

The platform was announced in a webinar on Children’s Day, November 14th, 2021, with the app going live on Android. By the end of the current fiscal year, in March 2022, the platform will have onboarded over 500 instructors, with the goal of onboarding over 5000 teachers. Currently, the app is only accessible on the Android Play Store.

Divya Tej Pereira, CEO & founder, TUTRRD said, “I strongly believe that teaching and learning should not be restricted to any geographical boundaries. When the educational system transitioned online, there was a heavy reliance on technology to conduct classes. There was an increasing need to include the human element in this content-learning age. Moreover, the number of students was huge and personalization was becoming a challenge for the schools and colleges. That is how the idea of Tutrrd was born, where we focused on providing the personalized experience to learning that has been missing in the market.”

“It has always been my vision to empower teachers to connect with students and ensure they have the technology and skills to make learning an exciting and fulfilling experience. With the pandemic, many teachers lost their jobs or their salaries were reduced due to the economic halt. In such situations, it is important to assist teachers to step into their power and increase their income. We provide a platform for teachers to provide their expertise in the most convenient and engaging manner,” added Mr. Tej further.

Students may arrange one-on-one individualized lessons with professors based on their interests and educational needs using the Tutrrd app, which delivers a smooth user experience. Students’ performance has been shown to improve when they rely on private tutoring at all levels of schooling. As a result, the app’s USP is the personal touch it gives students during their learning process. The app has helped to redefine the concept of private tuitions, allowing students to receive individualized attention from qualified professors in order to improve their academic performance through 100% live interactive and one-on-one tutoring.

More than simply internet-based tutoring sites are available in India’s online tutoring industry; it also includes tuition services that employ virtual worlds for educating and offering individualized virtual attention to pupils. The acceptance of higher studies, the COVID-19 outbreak, and increased technological accessibility have all contributed to the growth of the online tutoring sector. The market is expected to reach USD 9 billion by 2022.
