USS Networks, an Indonesian lifestyle business, has acquired an unknown amount of pre-series A funding led by Salt Ventures with participation from Tokopedia and OCBC NISP Ventura, OCBC NISP Bank’s investment arm.
USS Networks is a lifestyle and pop culture company founded in 2019 by Sayed Muhammad and Jeffry Jouw. Its verticals include content development, offline activities, community involvement, and retail sales.
Urban Sneaker Society, USS Feed, Outbrake, Creativox, Menjadi Manusia, and Sonderlab are among the 15 intellectual properties (IPs) and brands presently owned by the corporation.
USS Networks noted in a statement that the company has been profitable since its inception. It quadrupled sales and profit in 2021 compared to the previous year, and by the end of the year, it expects to have grown three times.
The new funds will be used to buy more IPs and brands, according to the company. It bought Raw Type Riot, a fashion business, and Karafuru, an NFT initiative, earlier this year.
