Unicorn Premier League’s second edition to be held in Bengaluru this February
The Unicorn Premier League (UPL) is returning following this year’s hugely successful mega cricket event in Delhi-NCR. Specifically, in Bengaluru.
In February 2024, the UPL Bengaluru edition, hosted by Entrackr, will feature matches between the nation’s best unicorns on the cricket field. Imagine it as the Indian Premier League for startups, with 16 unicorns vying to be named winners. Teams valued at billions of dollars will abandon their valuations and take pleasure in India’s national sport beginning in February 2024.
The founders of Oyo and Zerodha can be seen playing competitive cricket with their teammates on the field. Flipkart, Razorpay, Slice, Groww, DailyHunt (VerSe), and Zepto are a few more players.
We anticipate that the tournament will draw over 5,000 attendees from more than 100 startups. Women teammates will also play a significant role in each team.
Over the course of ten days, over a dozen unicorns will square off against one another in an attempt to win the coveted trophy and a cash prize of Rs 20 lakh. Along with the match winner, the tournament player, best batter (Orange Cap), best bowler (Purple Cap), and match participant will receive exciting gifts and cash. Beatxp, Renee Cosmetics, Bonomi Coffee, Spinny, Cannnarma, and other companies are partners in this event.
More than 100 startups are expected to send over 5,000 people to the tournament. Each team will see a large contribution from its female teammates.
