US-based Being Cares Inc acquired by mental health startup LISSUN

The US-based mental wellness startup Being Cares Inc. was purchased by mental health platform LISSUN, advancing its goal of establishing an AI-powered, child-first behavioral development ecosystem in India.

This acquisition gives LISSUN complete control over Being’s team and technology, fusing therapist-led knowledge with AI-driven hyper-individualized care that can interpret more than 40 emotional and behavioral disorders, such as learning disabilities, autism, ADHD, and speech delays.

LISSUN has welcomed Varun Gandhi, the CEO of Being, and Abhishek Sharma, the CTO, as its Chief Product Officer and Chief Technology Officer, respectively.

A US-based mental health startup called Being Cares Inc. offers AI-powered tools for mapping and treating more than 40 behavioral and emotional disorders. The platform, which has helped almost a million users worldwide, provides individualized mental health advice based on data on actual causes and effects.

The goal of the integration is to combine Being’s intelligent mental health mapping—which analyzes more than 2,500 causes and real-world effects—with LISSUN’s clinical interventions to provide parents and kids with incredibly personalized advice.

This move positions LISSUN as a full-spectrum care provider, offering both digital guidance and in-person therapy through its expanding physical network, as Sunshine by LISSUN centers already address child development needs.

In the next two to four years, LISSUN intends to grow its Sunshine centers from 20 to over 200, while providing millions of parents with AI-led support through its virtual assistant, Ray, on apps like WhatsApp. The platform seeks to provide comprehensive mental health solutions in home, school, and clinical settings by fusing real-time developmental insights, customized therapy activities, and milestone tracking.
