Wamly, a South African HR software company received funding from Knife Capital to expand globally

Wamly, a one-way video interview software business based in South Africa, has received a second round of funding from local venture capital firm Knife Capital to help fund its worldwide development aspirations.

Wamly is one-way video interview software that helps organisations recruit individuals for open positions without the need for one-on-one interviews, allowing them to interview more people and better applicants, quicker. It was founded in 2018 by Francois de Wet.

They may use the programme to quickly sort through applications, examine them on their own time, and shortlist the top candidates for future interviews. Since its beginning, the company has grown to become Africa’s largest provider of such services, with a healthy ongoing cash flow.

Wamly now hopes to accelerate its growth after receiving money from Knife Capital, a venture capital investment manager that leverages knowledge, networks, and funds to promote the worldwide expansion of African innovation-driven firms.

The funds will be used to increase marketing efforts, grow staff, and improve product development. Wamly’s objective is to solidify its position as the premier software programme for recruiters in the local market, as well as to begin implementing international expansion plans across Africa and beyond.
