WeWork to become one stop solution for enhancing hybrid work experience

WeWork, a company providing co-working spaces announced on 13th October that its first-ever investment is being done in a Bangalore-based startup ‘Zoapi’. In a statement made by WeWork, “through this investment WeWork India will continue to reinforce its commitment in order to offer innovative and immersive solutions across different spheres by scaling up platforms like Zoapi”. Although the amount invested in Zoapi has not been revealed yet. Zoapi, a SaaS (software as a solution) solution that provides a platform which combines the needs of a conference room with wireless screen sharing, online calendars, room scheduler, and video conferencing. A Bangalore-based startup Zoapi was co-founded by Prashant NS and Chaitanya Vasantrao in 2019 August. Zoapi is also a member of the Intel IoT solution alliance.

WeWork is aiming to be a one-stop solution for both small and large companies, freelancers etc. in order to enhance the hybrid work experience.

Zoapi is an open platform providing several facilities for holding meetings and also it collaborates with platforms like Zoom, Ms Teams, google meet, skype etc. “Businesses are increasingly looking for a blend of physical and virtual work experience, and innovative technologies such as Zoapi have become central to this. From an adoption perspective, it is affordable and compatible with numerous video conferencing platforms and devices. With its unique capabilities, this homegrown product has the potential to grow into a global player, implemented across all industries,” said Karan Virwani, CEO, WeWork India.
