Y-Combinator-backed rehook.ai acquired by CleverTap for undisclosed amount

For an undisclosed sum, CleverTap, a platform for customer engagement and retention, purchased rehook.ai, a startup backed by Y Combinator.

According to CleverTap co-founder and CPO Anand Jain, the change will enable integrated promotion management and support additional use cases. According to rehook.ai CEO and co-founder Akhil Suhag, the partnership with CleverTap will help expand the technology’s market reach and increase the efficacy of tailored promotions.

Through this acquisition, CleverTap’s platform now incorporates analytics, engagement, and promotions from rehook.ai’s promotions engine. It helps brands to more efficiently design, send, monitor, and modify advertising campaigns.

Tools for handling coupons, discounts, gamification, loyalty programs, and referrals are offered by rehook.ai.

Brands using CleverTap can use real-time promotional data from rehook.ai to trigger offers based on context and user behavior. This enhances overall marketing results and helps businesses reach users at the right time.

With investors like Accel, Peak XV Partners, and Tiger Global, CleverTap supports more than 2,000 brands globally.
