Shaktimaan.ai, an educational platform powered by artificial intelligence, has raised $2 million in a seed funding round co-led by Y Combinator, Fundersclub, GoodWater Capital, the Jar founders, and other investors.

According to a press release from Shaktimaan.ai, the money will be used to develop an LLM (Language Model) trained for a variety of educational use cases and improve the platform’s capabilities and adaptability.

Shaktimaan, a company Vimal Singh Rathore and Aseem Gupta co-founded in early 2023, offers real-time doubt clarification and individualized feedback with in-depth analyses of students’ handwritten responses. This strategy offers targeted assistance and effective study schedules to UPSC aspirants. The learning platform aims to make education convenient, interesting, and specifically designed for prospective candidates.

By the end of December 2023, the learning platform hopes to have served 100,000 students.

In April of this year, the early-stage startup accelerator Y Combinator revealed its Winter 2023 cohort. 12 Indian startups, including Atri Labs, Codeparrot, SuperAPI, Mantys, Clueso, and UpTrain AI, were chosen out of 282 applicants for the cohort.
